Today at 4.30pm, a cheque worth £2000.00 which was raised toward the cost of Gurkha statue was handed to Cll. Dan Daley and Chairman of the Gurkha Tribute Fund Mr. Boorman. Chair of our community Mr. Ratna Limbu, Mr. Saroj Rupacha, Mr. Badri Rai, Mr. Hari Gurung, Mr. Jhapat Bhujel, Mrs. Mina Bhujel and Mr. Dinesh Khadka were present.
Maidstone Nepalese Community would take this opportunity to thank to all those who kindly helped towards raising such a significant amount. A big thank to everyboday !!
